The Dolphin Position

The Dolphin Position

The dolphin position is a face-to-face vaginal sex position that targets the G-spot. It is a historic sex position taken from the Kama Sutra.

To get into this position, the receiving partner lies on their back and raises their hips. This can be a little tricky, but it is achievable if the receiving partner pushes off the bed with their feet. The receiving partner’s head, neck, and shoulders should remain resting on the bed while they raise their legs and butt in the air.

The penetrating partner gets into an upright kneeling position between the receiving partner’s legs. In this position, the penetrating partner can support the receiving partner by holding onto their hips or buttocks. The receiving partner can get extra support holding onto their partner’s thighs or lowering their legs so their toes are on the bed. The penetrating partner pulls the receiving partner’s hips or buttocks closer to enter them.

If the receiving partner struggles to get into position, they could simply lay on their back with their legs spread apart until their partner kneels down. The penetrating partner could then lift the receiving partner’s waist to bring them into the dolphin position. This requires more strength on the part of the penetrating partner, but results in the same end position.
